"This place was horrible. A nightmare in China! I woke up with bed bugs and I saw cockroaches crawling in kitchen during dinner. I don’t know how ppl rate it so high. I guess it is good if you are looking for something very cheap, but you get what you pay for! You were warned. "

"The hotel is fantastically located just a short walk from Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden Palace and the rest of central Beijing. Our room was tiny, but that's the price to be paid for a boutique room in a traditional hutong building and you can't argue with the price for this location. The staff were helpful, the room was clean and had everything we needed and breakfast was fine. The courtyard is beautiful and peaceful away from the noise of Beijing."

"We booked this Hotel after seeing it on the website as offering free breakfast, on checking in that was not the case ¥15 each person per day, the breakfast was catering for the Chinese tastes, there is a KFC and supermarket about 10 mins walk away where you can get food from."
