"It is a perfect place if you don’t want to camp out before hiking katahdin. I wouldnt necessarily recommend it for more than 1 or 2 nights but as someone that just stayed 1 night it’s in a quiet area, pretty view at sundown. And a nice stream you can go swimming in a couple minutes down the road. It really did its job for me."

"Property was as described. Ed and Michelle are very friendly and welcoming and ready to help if needed. Beautiful views of the lake from the house. We very much enjoyed our stay. We relaxed so much that I think it will be a shock to go back to work!. We may be back some day with the family!"

"Property was great. FYI the one of the pictures makes it look like the river runs right to lawn but there is a steep incline to access river which if I had known I wouldn’t have brought my kayak. Otherwise the pictures are good representation of the property."

"Our stay at Stephanie's place couldn't have been more perfect. The place is very new, with a large, well-kitted-out kitchen (we did our own cooking instead of going out).
