From the personalized welcome note to a separate one just for our dog (complete with treats!), we felt warmly welcomed from the moment we arrived.The house is stocked with absolutely everything you could need—and then some. I brought so many things I never even unpacked because James already had it all covered. We drove in through a storm, turning our 5-hour trip into a 7-hour trek, but the moment we stepped inside, it was all worth it.The spacious open floor plan, high cathedral ceilings, and peaceful view of the lake created the perfect atmosphere for relaxation. The photos truly don’t do this property justice. Our teens loved the board games, and I loved curling up on the couch with a good book—it’s the coziest spot to read and recharge.Highly recommend this home for anyone looking for comfort, beauty, and thoughtful touches that make a stay unforgettable."

"This is a great place with great host. It’s off the road a little ways. It’s very quiet and peaceful. The view of the lake is great but, I wish we could have seen it not frozen over. There’s plenty of room in the house. The kitchen is nice and has everything you need. We cooked almost everyday. There is a nice grill downstairs on the outdoor patio. The laundry room has gotten a lot of use too. I would give this more stars if they would let me. "

"This is an old fashioned camp, but with the update of electricity and indoor plumbing. It maintains that rustic camp life feel with a little more comfort. I will note that this is a bring your own sheets and towels rental. "

"Home was just as listed. Perfect size for 3-4 people. Quiet neighborhood, comfortable accomodations close to Baxter State Park. Property manager very gracious and accomodating when I made an error in our departure date. I would definitely stay again."

"As advertised. Clean, spacious, modern. This is a remote area and a fantastic way to leave everything behind. There's no cell service here (by my carrier, at least), so it was actually nice to not be bothered by incoming texts. The on-site wifi is very strong, so you can stay connected if you wish. There was some good fishing on the river - right in the backyard. At night while lying in bed the gentle breeze creates a white-noise effect on the roof, lulling you to sleep. We'd definitely stay here again."
