"The family room is really simple, 3 stars max (probably 2 is more accurate), but clean, no issues. You will hear water running if you open the windows (It's located creekside). But the owner is fun and welcoming, it's quiet, despite being close to railroad (German trains are really quiet, and there are very few of them). "Thoughtfully-appointed and comfortable room. Mr & Mr Diedrich clearly want to make you feel welcome. The breakfast table offered everything you could think of (except maybe orange marmalade, but nobody offers that). Plus a couple of tasty 'amuse bouche' items as a little extra flourish. Highly recommended."

"Travelled to attend a gig at the Veltins Arena and on arrival we were greeted by wonderful staff with great conversation and hospitality. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming and also a perfect location for attending the arena. 100% recommend! "
