"Booked this hotel for its location next to lake and entry into the Cotswold. Was very happy with my choice. One of the best breakfast choices I’ve had, very polite and helpful staff and conveniently located in relation to some of the best Cotswold Villages and other tourist sites. Would definitely recommend it."

"Room was lovely, very comfortable bed and products in the bathroom were of high quality. All the staff were very friendly and helpful, particularly Jack who found me softer pillows at 10pm when I asked. Breakfast was great, lots of options at the buffet and cooked breakfast was delicious"

"We had a lovely stay at the Bristol Marriott Royal Hotel. The staff at the front desk were very friendly and welcoming, and the hotel itself is a beautiful historic building with so much character. I especially loved the history and atmosphere of the hotel. We were kindly upgraded to a one-bedroom suite, which was beautiful, spacious and very convenient. We absolutely loved our suite and really appreciated the upgrade. Breakfast was simple but good quality. I particularly loved the pastries, especially the pain au chocolat! As we stayed over the weekend, breakfast was very busy, so there was some waiting time for food orders, tea and coffee. Overall, we had a very enjoyable and comfortable stay. Beautiful hotel, lovely staff and a great experience. We would definitely stay here again!"

"The spa was needs a complete revamp The steam room had tiles missing on the seating area , the swimming pool areas were tired and were not cleaned properly The restaurant for breakfast : the tables were not cleared after each course and the dirty plates just piled up on the table When we entered the bedroom there was an empty beer glass under the bedside cabinet it was still there when we checked out The stay was ok but in my opinion fell well short of a 5 star hotel"

"This hotel is absolutely gorgeous! The amenities such as the pool, steam room and sauna was such a nice treat to have. Staff was friendly and very welcoming. Breakfast was a bit costly but was great. Great stay!"
