"Lovely spacious clean cottage, very well equipped. Owners were attentive nice people. Summer or winter very comfortable place to be. Good position for visiting lot's of places. Lovely patio to sit in looking out towards the cattle in the fields, watching sunset or rise! We would definitely stay again. Thank you."

"This is a fantastic property in a quiet cul-de-sac 10 minutes drive from Wakefield and about 30 minutes from York or Harrogate. The cottage is very well equipped and has everything you need for a great stay. Clean and modern inside ample parking and great views."

"We had a wonderful stay at corner cottage and would definitely return! The cottage is lovely and cosy, full of everything you need, and has a wonderful picturesque location with two fantastic pubs and a village shop. Speaking with the owner ahead of our arrival, he provided us with a wealth of info about the cottage, as well as the local area and places to visit. It was our first visit to the Peak District but certainly won’t be the last! Thanks for a wonderful weekend stay. "

"We absolutely loved our stay at The Bobbin and just wish it were longer. The cottage is cosy and inviting, and it was our perfect home base to explore Derbyshire. "A fantastic find for our needs. The owner was exceptionally helpful. Central to the city. Great value for money. We had a great room. However a few things to make it better : 1- the oven/microwave didn’t work even after trying a few times. It needs a master in engineering to make it work. Maybe stick with 2 separate items. 2- Not ideal for light sleepers. Can sadly hear a lot through the walls. 3- although the apartment was clean. I am not too sure the hoover was done.
