"We checked into our room and it was so barebones it was unbelievable. The room was dark, the bedding looked very worn, and there were no pictures on the walls. It was stripped bare of everything. It was so bad we left the hotel and went to Sneek and stayed at another hotel. When we left we told the person at the reception desk we were leaving, and why, and they acted as if they could care less that weren't satisfied with the room. "Accommodation was fine. Lovely little pub 5 min walk from property. Only problem was getting the key from reception as they said didn't seem to know we were arriving. They also couldn't find the key after speaking to the owner, eventually gave me the spare key but it was a bit stressful at the time. I must point that this was reception's fault and not the owner of the property."
