"We enjoyed our stay at Maxwell del Mar. Staff are friendly and having a small bar/restaurant on-site was helpful for breakfast and drinks. The pool is small but enough to sit around and occasional dips. Best is really the location. It’s not right down on the St Lawrence Gap strip, but that’s only a 15 minute walk away, where there are plenty of bars and Dover Beach where you can easily swim with turtles. There’s also bus stops right outside the hotel from which you can easily get to Bridgetown, Holetown etc, and in the other direction Oistins (which is only a 20-25 min walk, great for the Friday night fish market)."

"Very reliable hotel with a good breakfast buffet and great staff. It would be nice to find a few more outlets and places in the rooms to charge your various devices as well as the inroom applicances."

"We loved the tranquility of the resort. Beautiful, well-kept beaches and friendly and hospitable servers. I especially want to recognize the efforts of Tracy Ann who made sure our room was meticulously kept and she was patient with us with our unpredictable departure times. She really cared that my kids and I enjoyed the island. She was incredibly kind and we appreciated her hospitable spirit."

"I truly enjoyed my stay at The Soco Hotel. Even though this was a solo trip , I never once felt alone. The staff were so friendly and helpful, the food was excellent, and the views were breathtaking. The cleaning staff also decorated my room for my birthday which was beautiful!!! "Had a really good time here with my wife with a group of friends about 30 in total celebrating the 50th birthday of my very good childhood friend. The staff were very friendly and polite, the ambience of the Hotel is fantastic as is the food (very good variety and options for everyone). Our room was a balcony with the Ocean view and very breath-taking waking up to the view everyday. Although quite pricey, we did enjoy our stay."

"Hotel is set in beautiful well kept grounds. Staff are friendly and attentive, rooms are cleaned daily to a high standard. Good breakfast daily meals generally good, with excellent table service even if food service is a little slow. Pool area is lovely and pool bar service good with a good choice of drinks available. Only issue was water temperature in room could’ve been warmer and more pressure to shower, this was also noted by housekeeping. Would stay again and recommend to anyone wanting a peaceful relaxing holiday."
