"NICE GETAWAY "

"We had a wonderful time at Gabbie’s Getaway. The home was adorable, very clean and well equipped kitchen. We had everything we needed to make a nice Thanksgiving dinner. Plenty of clean linens and towels! The furnishings were nice and couches were very comfortable. The doc area is very nice as well. Full disclosure on the treck down to dock was slightly steeper than expected but in no way a deterrent. I would just want to add that if you had physical disabilities or older it might be a little...

"The cabin was beautiful and clean with a great view and lots of nearby land to explore (we saw several adorable calves). The host was very friendly, offered to drive us directly to the cabin (GPS won't quite get you there). We also drove to Flat Rock Park for trails and swimming, only 20 minutes away"

"I loved this cabin. It is very obvious this lovely cabin is well loved and is someone’s personal getaway. Not another poorly maintained rental property. Prettily and thoughtfully appointed and decorated, comfy and cozy. I can’t say enough good things about it. Oh! And the view of the river is breathtaking! I would stay again, for sure! "

"Pros: gorgeous cabin with a lake view. Cons: Property had fresh linens and a freshly made bed but there were lots of spider webs through the cabin and porch area. The porch had several places where the screws were not all the way in and were sticking up which made it hurt if you stepped on one. The fire pit outside was also full of trash. Area is hard to navigate at night due to there being zero fluorescent signs to show you were to go. Would stay again but would ask the property start doing a...

"We were looking for a place to reconnect and relax and that is definitely what we found. No one around in the middle of the woods. We rarely picked up our phone, went for a walk in the morning, cooked yummy food, ate outside, enjoyed the hot tub and a fire and glass of wine in the evening. We would definitely stay again. We made home made pizza first time failed but second one was so yummy. We did come in on 501 and gps tells you to turn left when you should turn right and we missed the address...
