"We cooked the entire time we were there--Thanksgiving dinner, turkey gumbo, grilled fillets....it was wonderful. Thank goodness for 2 refrigerators. We had one of the most memorable times with our young adult children and mother. We did late afternoon walks and saw deer and wild turkeys each time. Built a fire in the outside firepit while hubby grilled steaks. Had a roaring fire in the living room fireplace, while we all watched football for 4 days (hated to leave all that ash but we couldn't...

Enjoy conversations around our fire pit, or grill up some good eats with our gas grill.

Whether it was skipping stones in the lake, making s’mores by the fire pit, playing games or watching deer in the surrounding woods, we all had a wonderful time together in this beautiful location. It was close enough to Georgia to make a trip to Callaway Gardens where we enjoyed their Fantasy of Lights. The layout is super convenient with the entertainment areas far enough away from the sleeping areas that people can rest undisturbed if others want to stay up chatting.
