I had to message for our check in information, we had to make one bed up, the sheet/cover was only left folded on top of the bed… only a flat sheet at that, they forgot the fitted sheet. The towels had stains, and the showers hot water only worked half the time(but the sink always had hot water, not sure what was up with that). Otherwise it was a good stay! "

"Really appreciated the good follow through when the elevator went down on Saturday. The representative got a repair man to the building in a timely manner and communicated with us what was happening during the day. The bathroom had excellent positions of bars for safety in getting in and out. Would recommend relooking at the bed and mattress padding as needs to be updated. The entry lock would often not work after several tries as could be frustrating. Thank you for our stay."

"Garage floor was very dirty. Rugs were slippery and we slid until we took them up. Need 2 taller bar stools; the ones that are there are ugly, too low and pretty useless."

"This house is perfection!! Plenty of space, incredibly beautiful and clean. The outdoor space is so well thought out and you have wonderful ocean views from the upstairs master deck (there is also a master on the main level). You can hear the waves at night and in the mornings. Such a great trip. And Emmons Realty was fabulous to work with!!"

"This was our fourth stay at Merry Mermaid Cottage in the past five years. Every visit has been wonderful. The cottage is perfectly located for an easy walk to the St. Marys waterfront. The neighborhood is quiet and relaxing, and the cottage is well-appointed and just right for a couple (and their dogs). We have stayed four nights each time, devoting one day for the waterfront and its shops and restaurants, one day spent at Cumberland Island National Seashore, and one day on a road trip to sights...

Waking up to sunrise outside the our bedroom, and walking just 50 yards to a mostly empty beach are the highlights. The quiet pace of the community perhaps prior to the on-season is a benefit for us.
