"Hotel was overall quite good - we stayed in a premier room with a king bed on the 5th floor. The city view was great. The hotel was clean and as described on the booking / photos. The breakfast buffet was good although only a few hot options. The gym facilities were okay but lacked heavier dumbbells / a range of machines. The hotel also has chilled filtered water machines which we loved. The widows in our room did not seal very well so we could hear the traffic (including the trams) on Powell Street. Bring ear plugs if you're a light sleeper. Please note that the hotel is on one of the highest hills in San Francisco. We made the mistake of walking our heavy suitcases up from Powell Street up to the hotel. I would pay for an Uber/Waymo next time. My partner and I walk a lot at home and we did struggle a bit with walking up the hills after going out for the day so consider budgeting ubers if you don't want the exercise. "

"We enjoyed the rooms. The beds were very comfortable. The walls seemed soundproof. There was city noise, but nothing crazy. We enjoyed the daily happy hour in the lobby. The record player was a nice touch. The staff was amazing upon check in and at other times during out stay. Very nice!! "
