"Fenton's is good for large groups. We particularly liked the outdoor area with the fire and it was also handy having a bar area! The hosts had thought of everything - plenty of blankets for us to use around the fire, loads of glasses in the kitchen, cocktail shakers, 2 fridges, plenty of coffee pods and the beds were very cosy and warm. "When we finally worked out where the house was on this desolate property, we were greeted by a dilapidated boxing bag and home gym on the balcony. Inside we discovered a filthy kitchen, glassware and cooking utensils, stained cushions, carpets, chairs and couch, horrendously dirty inside windows, a desolate deck, dismal firepit area, and a creepy caravan in the bushes. "Absolutely stunning property. We had 3 generations ranging from 12-80 years old. So much to do for everyone and quite separate accommodation so everyone had a quiet place if needed. Everything you can want and more. We took all our own food and drinks so we didn’t have to leave and the 3 kitchens enabled us to do this seamlessly. "We had a wonderful stay at Taralga Terraces - Whiting's Store and loved the town. It was cold so we made the most of the combustion fire and the beds were cozy and warm. The kitchen was well equipped and the bathrooms had all the amenities we needed. We ventured out to Wombeyan Caves and also had dinner at The Argyle Inn which was fantastic. Crookwell is also a lovely little town. Lisa was a great host and easy to communicate with. We would love to come back to this centrally located property."
