2 storey stone building with 2 bedrooms (2 queen beds), sofa bed (sleeps 1 only), 1 bathroom and kitchenette with dining area.

Adjoining cottage (see Crabapple Cottage for seperate booking) has one queen bed, kitchenette, bathroom and all amenities of other cottage with verandah overlooking large grassland to the river.

Perfect little cottage
Daphne cottage was perfect, cozy with everything you could need for a weekend getaway. Walking distance to town and across the road from the Market Place which has beautiful meals.

We thoroughly enjoyed our two-night stay in Daphne Cottage. It was rustic, clean, cosy, quiet and well appointed and a terrific base from which to discover the various towns of the Southern Highlands.

Excellent location in a quaint cottage. Has everything you need, although the kitchen is rather small and suitable for basic cooking. We explored the local food scene and there’s plenty of nice options in Berrima and surrounding towns. Very friendly and welcoming hosts, we had a great time thank you.

The perfect spot for a perfect break
The property was even nicer than the photos. We were extremely comfortable and enjoyed relaxing in the yard surrounded by incredible bird life. It was tranquil but close to the village, and Phil and Anne were the perfect hosts and made us feel super welcome. With the creek at the back of the property and playground at the front it was just the most wonderful location. Already planning our return!!

Lovely Cottage in Berrima
Was very quaint with good size bedrooms and a fabulous garden to spend time in. Lovely and clean. I would advise to eat out though as the kitchen is very tiny and you can only cook one item at a time in the microwave-oven. Otherwise a great place to stay and walking distance to everything

The property was lovely. Sadly, the weather was not so good which was a shame as we didn't get chance to enjoy the seating in the lovely garden area. The cottage was cosy and we were happy to snuggle up on the sofa instead of on the outdoor bench, reading and enjoying a red wine from our visit to the local Bendooley Estate Thank you

Cosy cottage in the heart of Berrima
We had a wonderful stay at Daphne Cottage. Was nice to cosy up by the fire and enjoy the backyard river view. The cottage was warm and cosy with all the amenities you could think of with excellent rooms. It was great to have close walking distance to the centre of town. The cottage was perfect for us to stay at with our newborn baby and another couple. Phil and Anne the hosts were very friendly and accomodating, they went out of their way to make our stay very comfortable. They allowed us to stay later post check out so we could feed our baby before driving home and gave us extra firewood for our stay. This is the place to stay in berrima! :)

Charming, well located cottage
This is a small, very quaint cottage in the lovely village of Berrima. The only issue was an extremely loud bathroom fan that came on automatically with the lights.

The back yard of this property was spectacular. Right on the river with a duck pond and lovely seating. Beautiful trees and well kept lawn. Being dog friendly was excellent. Location was excellent. The inside of the property was neat and tidy but not clean. The toilet was filthy and there was a lot of dust. There was no oven only a microwave oven that was meant to cook most things as it grilled etc. the kitchen was under the steps and we had to hang a ribbon from the steps so we would not hit our head when we washed up. No dishwasher, tiny bathroom. The beds were so uncomfortable and squeaked loudly every time we rolled over. The linen and pillows did not feel or smell fresh and clean. We paid for two nights but only stayed for one.

Wonderful well-located property
This property is just round the corner from the heart of Berrima. Village. It is a gorgeous stone cottage. It full of everything we needed for a long weekend. The owners were friendly and very accomodating - even perfectly grinding our coffee beans so that we could use the house-supplied plunger. Fantastic stay !!

Daphne Cottage Experience
I liked the look and charm of this lovely little cottage before I booked. On arrival, it did impress me very much. My partner was even more impressed ! Daphne Cottage is a beautiful, well appointed cottage boasting ample space for a great getaway for two or a young family. There is a great outlook of the back yard and down to the river from both the dinning area and the first bedroom upstairs. With Berrima Market Place Park just out the front, it allows you soak in that open space, especially if you stay mid week like we had done. A great place for a stroll mid evening or after dinner. The host makes you feel right at home, encouraging you to use the yard as if it was your own. The back patio are is a great place to spend breakfast in the morning light, with the amazing birdsong all around. The kitchen has a double hot plate which makes cooking a warm breakfast easy, or for that matter a light dinner. Every you need is at your finger tips ! It is a short stroll up to the main road and local shops, yet you don't hear any traffic noise whatsoever. We had a relaxing time staying here at Daphne Cottage. Would I stay there again, absolutely !

Wonderful stay!
It was our second stay at Daphne Cottage and we can't wait to return. Phil (and no doubt, Annie) is an excellent host - full of suggestions and very convivial. The cottage is in a very quiet, central position in the town and is spotless. The atmosphere is charming.
