"We were in town for the weekend to attend a wedding at Smugglers Notch and wanted to stay somewhere other than on the mountain. This was only an 8 minute drive, and we loved every minute being at Sterling Ridge. The cabin was cozy and comfortable with all the amenities we could need (in the winter). We were 4 adults and one teenager and we had plenty of room in the cabin! We can’t wait to come back!"

"From the fresh cut flowers on the back porch to the wonderful homey ambience inside, this place is truly a home away from home. Beautiful scenery outdoors, and comfy and cozy inside. The front deck was beautifully decorated with fall mums, and inside various plants, basking in the sun make this cabin come alive. The host was a delight to communicate with, and available every time we had a question or need. We are already planning our trip back. "

"My husband and I along with our pup had an amazing time. We wanted a clean, convenient, quiet place to get away and do some hiking. The location and value was great! Near everything you need! The grounds were beautiful and the staff were very helpful. We will certainly be back and I have already recommended it to family which will be staying there later in the season!"

The area is beautiful, the cabin was warm and comfortable even in the middle of january once i had the woodstove going, very nice quiet area. You won't see a single person anywhere near the cabin, it was pretty secluded and extremely private, but still reasonably close to some small towns. Further, the 1/2 bath in the basement is very noisy as it uses some special pump. The house has plenty of bedrooms, a nice big yard and the kitchen is well stocked with pots/pans/etc."
