"PROS: The location is wonderful, set off a quiet road just outside of Stowe. Aside from some minor changes to the interior, the listing was very accurate. A cozy fire pit down by the stream was wonderful. Overall, the location was exactly what we were looking for. CONS: Did not appear to be cleaned after previous guests, or at least not fully. Damp laundry was sitting in the washer, and the linens for the main bed hadn't been cleaned. The gas fire pit was out of propane. "

"Little House was perfect for our stay! It was so quiet, beautiful, and peaceful, and Jennifer is an excellent host. She was very communicative when the wind caused a brief power outage and brought us over some extra water during that time! We visited Montpelier, Stowe, Waterbury, and Burlington during our weekend and all locations were easy to get to (and the drives there were beautiful!). An added bonus was the house being so close to Morse Farm Maple Sugarworks. Would definitely stay here...

"If you plan to visit northern Vermont, I would highly recommend staying at the Muddy Mouse. I actually cant think of anything negative to say about it. It's truly a diamond in the rough. The property sits on a mountain top and is surrounded by some of the most beautiful scenery I have ever seen. "We loved staying in this cozy cabin! We had a bit of a hiccup with check in (the door code didn’t work and Vacasa was difficult to get ahold of) but once we were in, we really enjoyed our stay! The cabin was clean and comfortable. The kids loved making smores in the fire pit and our dog loved sleeping in front of the fireplace. We would definitely stay here again!"

"From the fresh cut flowers on the back porch to the wonderful homey ambience inside, this place is truly a home away from home. Beautiful scenery outdoors, and comfy and cozy inside. The front deck was beautifully decorated with fall mums, and inside various plants, basking in the sun make this cabin come alive. The host was a delight to communicate with, and available every time we had a question or need. We are already planning our trip back. "

"The loft space was so perfect. There was a separate building from the main house and it was clean, nicely decorated and had everything you could need. The owners were very nice and checked in on us after arrival. It was close to town, about a five minute drive and was situated on a beautiful property. It was pet friendly and we brought out dog, the owners left out treats for her. I would recommend this to anyone who visits the area. "

"There are a lot of good things about our stay. We loved being able to walk through Stowe at all hours. We loved the convenience of having a market right next door. And I was able to get a haircut right downstairs. The rec path was close and delightful to walk on. But we had no hot water--none--for the entire stay. Before arriving we were told the hot water heater needed a part that wouldn't be available for 3 days. We were even offered another rental to use instead, but it wasn't right downtown...
