Plenty of room in both the house and property, where we can sit out by fire or use the hot tub, and not worry about the closeness of any neighbors if were up a little late. Having the spacious barn for activities if foul weather is also a definite plus "

"On the down side: It's VERY dark in the house. Other than kitchen & bath, lighting is poor. Walls are all dark which attributes to the lighting issue. The house is too beautiful to have such a gloomy look. Poor instructions from owner. Unable to discard trash as garage was locked. Unfamiliar with propane, I could only get one burner to work on the stove. No cleaning supplies were available for me to use if needed. Bring a wand if you want to watch television. "My husband and I stayed at Stephanie's place at the Spruce Mountain Lodge at Stowe for 2 nights last week. Upon check in we were greeted by lodge staff who were friendly and helpful. The condo was clean, well equipped and perfect for our needs. The lodge had our skis ready in the morning and there were several nice eating places on site.
