"The competency and friendliness of the staff is exceptional from initial welcome, to cleaners, we had a lovely stay at the Antelope in fact this was our second visit, and wouldn't hesitate to stay again or reccomend. it's ideally placed or shops, quayside Nd transport links. Loads of top notch restaurants and pubs too makes it a great weekend away. "

"Check in was friendly and welcoming. Ate a snack in bar,service was quick and food was excellent. Bathroom had bio friendly soaps,which considering the seaside location, I thought was a good idea.overall a good experience."

"Older property with a pub below. We liked our stay except for the sloping roof (ceiling) room, where we kept banging our heads. "

"Room was comfortable however the seagulls kept us awake every morning from 5am walking on the roof (Room5) There were a couple of examples where ingredients listed for food items on the menu were left out, proving to be a disappointment for some dishes. The gnocchi didn't have any chestnuts, The pancakes didn't have coconut yoghurt for example. More vegetarian options would have been welcomed."

"Pros: Old-world charm. Spacious room. Plentiful common areas, including a bar, pool table, and an outside patio. Convenient location: 10-minute walk to town/sea, 15- to 20-minute walk from the train station. Kind and friendly staff. Generous VIP benefits. Good value. Cons: Some windows face the street so awkward to open the curtains. Small bathroom. Wifi not password protected (but requires frequent acceptance of terms of use). "
