"Initial look at the place was great, lived up to the hype. On the beach, decent size rooms, large open living space with kitchen and dining. Everything you’d want for a weekend getaway. Unfortunately as great as the surroundings were, the beds were very uncomfortable, 6 out of the 8 woke up with aches and pains. Mattresses clearly past their used by dates. "We booked Mary's wonderful house for a weekend away in December for a catch up with old friends (12 of us in total). We had an amazing time and really recommend the house. It has lots of character from being an old pub called The Star and the rooms were really comfy with almost all of them having their own ensuite bathroom. The kitchen is well equipped and spacious for cooking even for 12 people and we loved the fireplace and piano in the main living room. We didn't get out much due to storms...

"We really enjoy our stays at the the view hotel, but havent been for a few years a found it too expensive to stay for our family. Found a cracking one night deal on hotels.com. was alloxated a paryial view sea room with balcony which weve never stayed in before...could see the sea easily. Was a lovely size and clean. We have noticed in our last few stays that tje furniture is getting a little tired but didnt spoil our stay. We had dinner at the Vista bar in the hotel which was lovely and great value with the kids meals being free aa it was half term. Drinks priced well for a hotel. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Overall a fantastic stay and a cracking price in all. "
