"We loved this property. Communication was great. The cabin is cozy and so cute. We had everything we needed and we're created with a very thoughtful snack basket waiting for us. On our first night a really bad storm took down a tree and (unfortunately) the dish. We were able to use wifi to watch TV. The location is remote- perfect to unwind and reset."

"Recently booked a 3 night trip for me and my 19yr old twins. Firstly the road to the lodge is just wide enough for a single car and is at a steep 50-60° angel. The is a drop straight off the edge, no where to pull over. I drive a new SUV, we were coming down and a car was coming up the road and we had to reverse on icy gravel at 60°. It was a nightmare. We did have a field mouse get into the house that was eating our pretzels the first night but we did not see him again once we locked up all the open food bags but we left one night early because of the mouse. "We had a wonderful stay in the mountains! The leaves were changing and we couldn't have asked to spend it in a better place. Loved the mornings in the hot tub. The pool table was a lot of fun in the evenings as well. Just a note, the third floor is a loft with two king beds. Wasn't an issue for us but the pictures made it seem like those were two separate bedrooms. Also, coffee is k-cup only with no carafe option (not a big issue, just something for future guests to know as they pack)."

"We had a girl group that stayed for 6 nights. We loved the view and the river. There was a lovely little fairy glen on the river that was absolutely wonderful. The porches were a great place for sitting any time. We enjoyed trips to Jackrabbit Mountain, Lake Chatuge, Wayah Bald, Rufus Morgan Falls and some other locations. It was a wonderful trip. "Great place for a couple! Spotless. Everything you needed was there. It is in an area with several tiny homes around. We were the only ones there so it was very private. It would not be as private if those other places were rented. But it's still a great place! The area is beautiful! I would definitely stay again!"
