The yurt was just as described and even more beautiful inside. We felt cozy and right at home. The only regret is we had to leave to return to work the next week! Looking forward to returning later this year and have told others about our awesome experience
Great place - a few comments - WiFi signal isn’t strong - fine for WiFi calls and internet - bring what you need for groceries as it is a trek to get to a bigger store. We will be back!
We really enjoyed our stay in the Otter Creek yurt. When we arrived, we were pleasantly surprised at the amount of room and the overall layout of the yurt. It was snowing when we arrived to the yurt, which for this Florida girl, was an extra bonus! The yurt remained warm even in 20 degree weather. The constant sound of the running creek was relaxing and great white noise at night. The hot tub was a great addition and remained hot even when it was freezing outside. You’ll want to bring all your food necessities with you, as the drive to Franklin or Murphy is a haul through narrow winding roads - the snow made it extra scary for me - but it was a gorgeous slow drive through the mountains. Just beautiful. We would recommend this place to anyone!
It was a nice place, a little far from the N.P. though.

Amazing Views and Hospitality in the area, but more a luxury sauna vs yurt during the day.
The grounds and location of this group of yurts are superb. Furnishings and finishes in yurt all top notch. Our biggest issue is our yurt reached 95-98 degrees every day as the AC cannot keep up with the direct sunlight. This made it miserable the little time we were in the yurt during the day. Finally had fans delivered and this made it bearable. Cooled down really nice in the evenings. We would stay again, but would need a yurt with more shade coverings.
My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our weekend getaway to Otter Creek Yurt! The first thing that caught our attention was the sound of the creek(s). It was so peaceful and we immediately fell in love with this rental.
It is equipped with everything you need for your stay. We cooked both nights and enjoyed staying in to eat. The only thing I would suggest is more light in the kitchen area as we used the kitchen frequently and had some trouble locating items and when prepping food.
The bed was super comfy and we both slept so well, especially with the white noise of the creek.
We will definitely be booking this rental in the future, we think our kids will love it as well.
What a wonderful spot. I didn't want to leave. It was magical. I will be returning in the future and I've told everyone I know how wonderful our stay was.

This place is awesome!!!
It is everything it said it was and more! The hot tub was amazing, the kitchen was beautiful, the bathroom is great (although the hot water ran out quicker than I had hoped), the beds are super comfortable, hosts are very hospitable. The sound of the water running was awesome! I do recommend coming in during daylight as it is easier to find that way! We will definitely be back!

Weekend Getaway
My fiancé and I thoroughly enjoyed our trip. The yurt was beautiful and the creeks were lovely. It was snowing during our time there and we stayed very cozy inside while watching it fall. The hot tub was wonderful and so was having a campfire in the setup space outside. The yurt itself couldn't have been more fantastic, very roomy with nice appliances and great décor. We are definitely planning to stay there again!!

Beautiful yurt in a beautiful setting
We really enjoyed the yurt. It’s very luxurious and well appointed. We cooked, bbq’ed and had a campfire. The streams next to the yurts were the perfect white noise. The hot tub was perfect because it was chilly! I definitely want to stay again!

Beautiful Cabin!
We weren’t sure what it would be like to stay in a yurt... but this place was so beautiful and full of high end details! All the appliances are Bosch, leather sofas, big flat screen tvs in every room, private hot tub, huge walk in shower with polished river rock tile.... The kitchen had everything we needed to cook our meals including high quality pots/pans/utensils. The creek outside is quite loud and creates a white noise inside the cabin (husband loved this sound but it was hard for me to sleep through) and the living space and bedrooms are open ceilings so there’s very little sound privacy (our baby wakes easily so that was a little stressful). We will definitely recommend to friends but probably not ones with small children.
