"My family and I stayed for 5 nights for our first trip to the blue ridge mountains and we had a wonderful time. We visited a few hiking spots as well as Boone and Blowing Rock and it was easily accessible while also feeling like you were peacefully remote. The creek was a great addition, everyone enjoyed playing in it and listening to it while sitting on the deck. There was plenty of room. Clean and cozy."

"We needed a place to stay that was close to Sky Retreat, where our daughter was getting married. Spring Lodge fit the bill perfectly! Richard gave us great directions, so that we were at Sky Retreat in 8 minutes. The house was warm and cozy, with a fantastic kitchen! The driveway is a bit tricky to get in and out of, wish it were more flat. And it would have been nice to have use of the garage, as weather was very rainy when we arrived. But overall a very nice property with lovely owners....
