"This house was such a great experience. All the reviews are accurate. Melissa was responsive and so easy to work with. This house is located walking distance to App Mountain (my 13&18 yr olds walked with their boards and boots). And easy to access boone and blowing rock. It does suggest 4wd for the winter and I would highly recommend this during the cold weather. Would definitely stay here again."

"This place was perfect for a big family of all ages! Beautiful views and cozy indoors! One thing we really loved was that there were pack and plays set up in the roomy master bedrooms closets! I would recommend 4 wheel drive for snow and ice. Our host was the best when we weren’t able to get down the road inside the gated community by allowing us to stay until the roads were worked on!"

"We needed a one night stay, so we could pick up our new puppy the next day. Kim's place was perfect! Such a lovely and charming house. Plenty of space, and had all the comforts on hand. "Everything very nice. Two problems. The dishwasher didn’t work and the great room fireplace pilot was faulty. Unless my son was literally there to do it manually, we could not start the fire. We were not supplied with the checkin door code and arrived 1:00AM from thee different locations and two countries. The house is beautiful and wonderfully located! "

"We were pleasantly surprised with how updated the property was, and it was in a great location between Blowing Rock and Boone. There was plenty of room for the three couples to spread out and having our own bathroom was a plus. In addition, it was very clean, and the start up supplies were a nice touch. Watching the family of deer across the street as we sat around the fire pit at dusk topped it off!"

"the property is very nice and spacious. but unfortunately far from most attractions. Due to the hurricane damage Blue Ridge was closed off and most driving distances are 40 minutes plus. The other downfall was the trash situation. We were unaware that would have to dispose of the trash away from the house to the nearest landfill. Fortunately you have the option of the cleaning staff taking it for you at a Fee cost. "
