"We came for a wedding and opted for this property over the proposed hotel stay at wedding rate. Great decision! The beds were super comfy. The bathrooms and kitchen were so nice and stocked with all you need. The outside deck in the mornings where we listened to birds and had coffe was great. The owner is an excellent communicator... Would stay here again. Recommend to others. "

"The cabin is a cozy, comfortable place to stay. The decor was warm and inviting to give it the feel of home away from home. It was peaceful sitting on the porch and rocking while hearing the river down below at Elk Shoals park. It's a short drive to West Jefferson and Jefferson where there is plenty to do. Lots of places to shop including the Asheville County Cheese factory, quaint stores and antique shops. Great places to eat including our favorites Hillbilly Grill and Smoky Mountain...

"This cabin was top knotch! So accommodating and even very understanding when I made an error with my reservation. We barely saw any neighbors and those we did see were very friendly. I would highly recommend staying here to any nature lover who wants a clean place with all the amenities!"

"Just WOW! The photos just don't do this house justice. We were completely blown away by the views, the amenities, the quality of all the finishings. Every bedroom is unique but so comfortable. "Great quiet, out-of-the-way cottage hide-away to have family conversation, crafting and home cooking with our college student. Nicely updated and decorated cottage with an wonderful picture window to watch the mountain, weather, and nature's friends. Would definitely stay again!"
