We also enjoyed the hot tub after walking around Boone for the day. We cooked dinner every night and had everything we needed. "Beautiful cabin tucked away in the woods. We (especially our children) enjoyed exploring the trails and creek on the property. The owners had a big collection of games, board games, toys & trinkets for all ages, as well as a huge collection of books & DVDs you can tell the owners have put a lot of thought and care into their vacation rental! Our favorite part was the downstairs game room! We enjoyed our stay so much and plan to return in the future! "

"Stayed during weekend trip. House was very nice. A bit further from Boone, Blowing Rock, and Banner Elk than we expected, but still only about 15 minutes from Boone. Nowhere closer to grab groceries that we saw. House could use a good "spring cleaning" and some maintenance but overall very nice. For coffee drinkers - the pictures show a standard drip coffee maker but it did have a Keurig combo drip & pod coffee maker when we stayed - bring coffee filters. "Love the seclusion and quietness of the property, beautiful views. I had a few problems with some dirty pots that were left. We had to clean before using. The place was also freezing cold and we were not able to adjust the temperature limited cell service up here so we’re not able to contact the property owners other than those few glitches it was a beautiful stay"
