"The hotel is underground some renovations, so parking was a little limited by equipment that was on site. But still plenty for everyone to find a space. The staff was friendly & helpful. Not just pet friendly for the stay, they have a pet relief area equipped with baggies for your 4-legged friends to use. An excellent value, in my opinion. "

"Very nice place, we were stuck in the rain on the mountain roads at night and decided to call it a night. Found this place and got back to the bigger highway. Spacious feeling room, nice and comfortable. Decent breakfast too. Glad we found it. "

"The stay was perfect. Our room was clean and quiet and had the best beds that I had slept on in a long time; firm and comfortable! And because of back issues, a firm bed is important to me. There were more offerings for breakfast than I expected, including hot items."

"We stayed in the treehouse for a long weekend and really enjoyed our stay. It was clean, very quiet and nicely decorated/equipped. The views were beautiful from the bedroom, living and deck. We loved watching the squirrels hop from tree to tree. We used the fire pit both nights and grilled steaks on the propane grill on Saturday. We enjoyed our coffee by the indoor fireplace on cool mornings. I planned easy meals, prepped some ahead but the kitchenette was very well equipped. It was nice to have a larger fridge than expected. Overall—we would definitely return. I DO think the camp chairs are ready to be replaced. "

"The woman at check-in was personable & friendly. I was disappointed only with the morning coffee—they didn’t have lids for the plastic cups & when I asked, they said there were none. Otherwise, I would highly recommend this motel over a coupla others in McAlester, when I’ve had to stay there. This motel has totally changed my perception of a Motel Six! "
