"The property is in an excellent location in the center of Gent. Just a block away from a main street. The property block is quiet and very close to markets and restaurants. A fresh fruit/veg stand was a 3 min away. We were there during Gent Fest but we were able to still sleep through all the noise. 2 of the 3 rooms are away from the street, so we used those & it was quiet & we were able to sleep with no problems. "This is a beautiful accommodation in a beautiful setting. The description is correct in noting the "eye for detail": the interior decor is stunning. The loft / open concept was ideal for my husband, son and I and the location allowed for daytrips to Bruges, Ghent as well as some cycling along the canal (although the bicycles are in need of some maintenance)."

"This was an ideal location for our exploration of this corner of Belgium and also NE France. We were delighted with the house and the facilities provided and could not have asked for more. Welcomed by Marc, the host who showed us around and had some lovely suggestions of places to visit and eat, we then spent our week criss-crossing the region and enjoying everyday. So much to see and do - we didn't manage it all but that just gives us the opportunity to go back again."
