"My family and I rented this cottage based on the past reviews and the cottage description. Unfortunately, the cottage was not properly described and was filthy when we arrived. We were assured by the owners that the cottage has been cleaned, but we did send photos of both buildings that proved otherwise. A cleaner was sent a day later but by then, we had already cleaned a bit. The kitchen had a tap that wasn't properly attached, stinky dish cloths, oven mitts with holes, drawers and cupboards...

"We have rented family vacations many times before and this wonderful lakeside home was by far the best. The property is everything it says and more. The hosts are wonderful to deal with ,accommodating and accessible. We are already making plans to return."

"We enjoyed a short family vacation on lake Haliburton. The cottage was clean with well stocked kitchen for 4 people. We enjoyed time on the large dock with beautiful views of the lake. The property is being updated. Brett welcomed us on arrival and check in instructions were communicated by cell phone. and other cottages are being updated."
