"I’ve just come back from 12 days staying at the Whitney House Retreat with my pups. This was the second time that I stayed at this place. I love the proximity to all the trails, not only those within Algonquin proper. It’s also a really nice location - you can listen to the beautiful sounds of the river while enjoying a backyard fire, barbecue, and the sounds of the birds & critters living in the forest behind the property. In addition to backing onto the forest, I love the shield rock and the birch trees surrounding the property. It’s a special place. Casey is an excellent host, and the place is nicely decorated and quite comfortable. I look forward to visiting again!"

"We were at Cutis’s lovely home for 3 nights over the Thanksgiving weekend. We were celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary with the kids and grandkids. There was something for everyone there! Everyone enjoyed the pool table and ping pong. It was fun to try shuffleboard and air hockey. The kids took out the canoe and a kayak and the young ones even had a quick dip in the lake. Others just fished. The whole area is beautiful, especially in the fall. We were very happy with our time together there. "

"Spent a relaxing weekend away here. Christine at the desk was so kind, friendly, and helpful. She explained all about activities on and around the resort, the spa, places to eat, etc. She was always ready to help if we had any questions. Jessica at the spa was super kind and fun. It was a great experience. Hugo and his staff in the restaurant provided great service and delicious food. The resort is somewhat isolated, not ideal if you're looking for nearby shopping, etc. But perfect for outdoor activities, and/or spa experience. The resort is very quiet. The bed was super comfy. We loved our stay and hope to go back again. "
