The beds were super comfortable…(a high priority)…And the couch was also huge, and comfortable for everyone to sit on at the same time! The neighborhood was nice and quiet! We enjoyed coming back to the house after the great restaurants we visited! There is some construction going on one house down but, it looked like they were very close to being finished! "Loved how close it was to downtown St Augustine which is my favorite city. We normally stay at the beach but wanted something different for for 25 & 22 year old sons. They fished off shore and then we cooked the fish at the well stocked condo. Only downside was the pool was not heated and the first of March can be chilly in northern Florida. I would definitely return. "

"We can't say enough great things about this home. The home is beautiful and nestled a short walk from St. Augustine's historic district. We were impressed with the lovely furnishings. There was plenty of space for our two families and 3 dogs. The check in and check out process was smooth and easy. We walked with the 4 kids to the historic district and back twice to shop and check out the lights. We stopped to get some hot cocoa and check out the jail along the way. We hope to stay there...

"This property had a smell that took us serval washings to get out of our clothing. It permeated everything we took into the property. They have an obvious problem with moisture even the refrigerator was rusty from moisture. It just felt dirty as a consequence. This property is a great location which is why we booked it but we so regretted staying there. Bathroom/shower very nice and best part of the property however the towels were so thin and poor quality it took several just to get damp dry....

"Booked and paid for a unit with two queen beds. Got one king. Spent two miserable nights on pullout couch adjacent to refrigerator whose ice machine groaned & rumbled into production every few hours. Bait and switch gone bad. Will not recommend to others."

"For April in Florida, it was cold in the mornings, and after sun set. It also rained on night. Location was good. Not too far from everything. The unit we stayed in was on the 2nd floor. Water pressure in the shower was lacking. Construction being done on the unit next door. It was a little noisy. The dumpster in the parking lot was a huge attraction for the local raccoon. Internet was intermittent. We did, however, get to relax on both the front, and back patios. Water views were nice. Overall...

"Used to live in St. Augustine and we were in Vilano many times. Hadn't been in about five years and it has grown quite a bit. Many more hotel options. This property is only a year old and it is still in like new condition. Public areas clean and comfortable, room well appointed and the addition of Michael Lugo's restaurant concepts is a major plus...both formal and informal dining venues on the first floor and a roof-top facility open Thursday thru Sunday. Ate two evening meals there and the food was excellent, so was the service. If I had to find a negative it would be the ice machine. We like a cocktail in our room in the evening prior to going out to dinner...that requires ice...and the only ice machine for guest use on the property was on the third floor. That was a long way from our room and took a lengthy walk and two elevator rides each night just for ice. "

Excellent hotel.

"Weekend fun trip. This hotel was very clean. The room was large and has 2 queen beds and a sitting area with couch and ottoman/table. Had a mini fridge. Shower was nice and spacious with a glass door which is so much cleaner feeling than a shower curtain. The mattress was a little firm for my liking but fine. Breakfast was complimentary and nice. Not too extravagant but perfect for everyone to grab a quick BF and get out exploring the town. The location was close to downtown and convenient to everything. For us, it was the perfect compromise. Being in the heart of downtown would have been more expensive and this hotel was super clean and nice for a very reasonable price while being very close to the downtown eating shopping, and attractions. Is definitely stay there again."
