"The photos do not do the property justice! Warm, welcoming, spotless a lovely cottage. The location was amazing with sea views from the top bedroom and a short walk into town and the beach. Bedding was clean, excellent quality, beds and pillows very comfy. Kitchen though small is very workable with all utensils anyone needs. "Beautiful house, perfect for our family of seven and the dog! The house was spotless, everything you would want to enjoy your stay. Photos do not do it justice, it was gorgeous!! Perfect location, walking distance to everything in Whitby. Would definitely stay again. Thank you for an amazing weekend!!"

"This cottage is located perfectly. The walk down to the front is about 7/8 mins. There are shops all around and plenty of places to eat. The cottage is away from the hustle and bustle, is very well equipped and the beds are so comfy. We had an amazing weekend and will definitely be booking to stay here again. "

Close to centre 10 min walk perfect Maybe leave a small Complementary gift relevant to the area biscuits maybe As most hotels do this, also needs a full length mirror upstairs rather than in the bottom of the stairs only one very small mirror in second bedroom But other than that we had a fantastic stay "

"The house was everything we hoped for and more. The decor is spot on and there can't be many houses in Whitby with a better vista. The only thing I would say though is that it is very difficult to load and unload...Church St car park was packed so we had to use the Abbey car park which is a gruelling up/downhill slog for the less fit/able. Be prepared to travel very light as you can't get close to the property with a car. Having said that, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would return."

We would like to give a balanced review and fundamentally the property is in a great location, even though no parking but can be found in adjacent streets with permit provided. The property isn’t suitable for a family due to size.
