"Couldn't fault the hotel, considering the building is 150 years old it was in great condition, very well looked after, everywhere was clean and tidy. It was -1 outside but the whole hotel was lovely and warm, very relaxing. The staff were all nice and very helpful, the food and the dining room were great. The only thing that let it down was the parking outside, not enough spaces."

"The hotel is being renovated yet it was still quiet and comfortable. The room we were allocated wasn't suitable for our mobility needs as there were too many stairs but we were quickly given an alternative one more suitable. A faulty lock was efficiently replaced without any inconvenience to us. Friendly reception staff and welcoming entrance gave an overall positive experience "

"Our first room was ideal for me and my mum , but the tv didn’t work , so there was no hesitation from the staff and they moved us straight away and wow we got upgraded to a suite which was amazing , my 85 year old was crying when she saw it and the view was overlooking the sea .. plus we had 2 tvs:) Thanks to the staff for making our stay extra special "
