"Stopping off in Devon for a few days break, we were very pleased with our stay at The Globe. While the property is very far from being an "all singing all dancing" modern hotel (no elevator for example); it has buckets of charm and is situated in an excellent location. Our room was certainly spacious and very clean and well appointed and everything worked perfectly. "Exceptional breakfsst - large choice and the best cooked breakfasts we have had in a long time. Unpleasant smell in hallway of fish being cooked. Mattress in Room 1 needs attention. Staff very wevoming and an excellent location. "
