"Lesley and Tim were wonderful hosts and very friendly. Car parking was easy. Location good although we didn’t have the chance to explore as we were meeting friends for a Christmas lunch the next day. Room was nice and warm and the bed comfortable. Karen and Keith are both excellent hosts and cater to your every need (within reason) without drama whilst keeping very high standards around the property. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else whenever I’m in the area, the views are truly spectacular."

"We needed a place to stay while visiting family and couldn’t have asked for a nicer place or more welcoming hosts! Comfortable and warm beds in a beautiful place (we stayed in the stable cottage) with everything thought of - we had tea and home made flapjack waiting for us in the room and more breakfast than we really needed but it was so delicious! Thank you Chris and Nikki"

"Lovely farmhouse. Although described as standard double, the room was larger than expected as was the bathroom which boasted separate shower and bath. The whole suite was immaculately clean and extras such as biscuits and fruit and ‘proper’ milk in a mini fridge were provided. "What a find! Such great value - quilted toilet roll, fluffy towels, spotlessly clean, friendly staff and comfy bed. What more could you want... and all for £37 a night. Granted we got an exceptional deal but would highly recommend at double the price. "

Great location and wonderful building

"The hotel is in a great location in the centre of Ludlow. There is on site parking and the castle is a few minutes walk away. Check in was simple and we navigated through the meandering corridors to reach our rooms. It’s a 400 year old building so there are stairs, steps and turns as well as some fabulous wood panelling and glass. My room, 104, was a good size with an excellent modern bathroom. The bed was large and comfortable, there was a good sized desk plus additional seating and the sockets all had USB ports too. The room was quiet, overlooking the car park and despite the hotel being busy there was no noise intrusion from other guests. Breakfast was excellent, buffet with various cooked to order options. Not excessive but good sized portions and decent service. Overall a lovely stay in a fabulous location."

"Fabulous team on the front desk, absolutely first class and as good as any 5* hotel even though this is a busy conference hotel. All the staff, in the restaurant, cafe and front desk were just lovely. Rooms fairly standard but clean and client."
