"Perfect location for walking into the city or to the railway station (no more than 10-15mins). Stayed in the delux double bedroom in the annex. Confused as room didn’t match the images on their website. Duty manager informed and he agreed and apologised. For a delux room would have expected more luxuries, the only benefit seemed to be size of room and en-suite. Breakfast options ok, but as for advertising continental options, only saw yoghurt "

"We stayed for 3 nights for a Christmas shopping trip, the hotel is in a perfect location very close to York Minster and with lovely bars and restaurants on the doorstep. We were met with a very warm welcome, our room was small but had everything we needed and was spotlessly clean. I would highly recommend this lovely boutique Guest House"

"Slightly complicated check in process with nobody on site and having to call a mobile number. However, once I was in everything was very clear. My room was up 2 very steep sets of stairs. It was compact but clean, with a small ensuite. The shower pressure was very weak unfortunately, but otherwise the room was excellent value for money. "Room was at the top of the hotel, up lots of very narrow stairs, very basic room which felt more like a spare room, hotel is definitely not a 4 star, struggle to be a 2 Room was very dated and small things werent right, the bedside light fitting was ver loose, the ceiling had decor missing, the wallpaper is like something out of the eighties, the room was tiny, cold and very unwelcoming, the only thing this hotel provided above a 2 star was the toilet roll.
