"Cabin is very pretty 2 bathrooms the queen bed was very comfortable we slept very well. Indoor wood burning stove works really well. We used it when lights went out a few hours. Owner came to greet us and to help with power outage. Had a very comfortable stay. I highly recommend this place close to some absolutely beautiful places and restaurants. "

"Exactly what we wanted, cozy and clean cabin with all the amenities near a river with a Mountain View. Did some river fishing in the back, made a fire, went hiking a short drive away. Perfect experience, will be back. "

"We loved the cozy cottage! It IS cozy but also more spacious than it seems in the photos. It was very comfortable for our family of 4 and we appreciated the welcoming gestures such as spices to cook with, coffee, DVDs, extra towels and blankets. The kitcheware is all top quality and the gas fireplace kept us cozy. It's in a quiet, wooded area about a 15 minute drive to Whiteface mountain and 30 minutes to Lake Placid. We would gladly stay here again!"

"What an amazing place to stay! We’ve stayed in many rental homes and this is one of the best! My husband and I traveled with 2 teenagers, 2 grandparents, and a large dog. This one floor home was easy to navigate for the grandparents and had fun loft spaces for the teens to retreat to. 10 minutes to Whiteface mountain and easy to find. "The house is perfect for 10-12 people and has a lot of space for everyone to hangout. Location is great, it is a quiet area and about 15-20 minutes from whiteface mountain for those who love to ski and snowboard. If you need a place for a few friends or family, I 100% recommend this place!!!"

"It was everything that was described. Beautiful cabin and property. Not ideal for hauling a boat or parking one. The shower was cool but so was the water or to hot. But overall a great place and would go back again. There is very little cell service which i liked but was in return hard to communicate with owner's and the tournament staff for the bass tournament we were fishing. "Very nice quiet cabin located right on a small river. Very close to the trails. It snowed while we were there which is no big deal. Instead of the trails we went to the village and mall to just walk around both were close by and the art museum. So was easy to adjust plans due to the weather."

"We stayed here for several days on a ski trip to Whiteface. The kids decided this was the best rental property they had ever stayed in! The house is comfortable, beautifully maintained and well appointed, with stunning views of Whiteface Mountain from the porch and front yard. Host was very communicative and responsive. "Everything was perfect. We had a great time exploring Paradox Lake with the kayaks and making s’mores over the fire pit. The Pharoah Mountain trails were also super easy to get to. Everything was clean and well stocked with kitchen ware. We would love to come again"

"This place was perfect for our ski and snowboard trip to Whiteface. Close to the mountain for us to get in early. We used each room and all my friends were very comfortable. Even the two adult men that had to share the small cabin had no complaints. The sauna and hot tub were perfect for us to recover our exhausted bodies from full day of shredding the mountain.
