"We arrived at the Ship on quite a grey day, but the welcome from the staff soon cheered us up. We chose the ship because it was dog friendly and isn't it just every other person had a dog with them and you can take them anywhere. Our room was at the back with wonderful views over the sea. "It was a pleasant night obviously it’s above a pub so there is noise but I stayed on a Wednesday night so the pub closes at ten. Friendly staff and the room very clean & warm. I had a shared toilet & shower but there were no issues with that, I would recommend people stay, I went for the races and had a good trip, thanks."

"I was put in a room with 3 single beds. I tried all 3 and they were all extremely uncomfortable. The room is very run down and dirty. The bathroom was cold as the heating didn't work and the shower does not have enough power to have a decent shower. All in all it was an awful experience"

"The room looked ok but on closer inspection not so good! Bathroom had mould in the tile grout in the shower and the remaining bathroom was bare plaster. The toilet seat was not attached properly. The bathroom had some sort of sewage maceration system that would go off every hour throughout the night! Nobody knew how the tv worked!! Four remotes for 1 tv!! "Owners could not have been more welcoming and accomodating. We stayed here whilst visiting Thrusford Spectacular show. We had a lovely lunch before we we left for the show all plates were empty and everyone enjoyed the meal. Would highly recommend this friendly in for a stay."
