"We really enjoyed our two day stay at this hotel. The receptionist (Ileana) was very friendly and helpful. Our room was very spacious and immaculately clean. The hotel is perfectly located in the heart of the historic area close to the sea. The only small difficulty was the fact that the streets around the hotel have restricted access for cars, so we had to walk a few blocks with our luggage. "The hotel is very convenient for the historic centre of Palermo also an easy walk to Centrale rail station (we went on to Rome by train after our stay). Room was well maintained and very clean. Breakfast was enjoyable but slightly disorganised (had run out of knives at one point on both mornings and plates on one) but the setting, a room clearly part of the old palace with a high arched ceiling, also good coffee individually made, more than made up. Reception staff were pleasant and helpful...

"We stayed at the Hotel Aliai for about 4 nights. The rooms were very nice, clean and big. The staff was absolutely amazing, very happy and couldn't do enough to help and ensure that we had a good stay. The hotel is situated so that it is easy traveling distance to the Marsala region as well as Agrigento. The town of Sciacca is lovely with some pretty impressive restaurants. We really enjoyed our time there and would definitely stay again."
