"I arrived at the hotel about 7 pm. The hotel is locked, all the lights are off and no one answered the door or the phone. I have never experienced anything like tbis before. I demand a refund and an apology. Take the hotel conditions, etc. with a grain of salt. The form required all fields to be entered to make a submission. "

"Hotel has a beautiful carved maple lobby, beautiful view of the illinois river & friendlt and accomodating staff. Rooms are nice. Some of the hallways etc could use some updating. Nice and quiet with excellent complimentary coffee in the mornings. Irish pub within walking distance as well as excellent pizza at Hoops Pizza and beer. Also located next to I 74 with wasy access"

"The hotel was very nice. It was clean, had courteous staff, the room was comfortable, they offer happy hour in the evening and breakfast in the morning and there was an indoor pool. Perfect for a family stay. We did have to call the concierge because a tv in our room didn’t work. A staff member attempted to fix it, but unfortunately wasn’t able to get it working. It was later in the evening so we just let it go for the night. Other than the tv, I would give the hotel an excellent review."

"The shower head alone was hands down worth the price of the room. High enough for a tall (6') person to stand under without crouching and had excellent water pressure. The beef was very comfortable too - soft but still firm with great support. The fact that it's an easy stroll across the skywalk to get to the Civic Center is a great bonus. We will definitely stay here again. "
