"Visited with my daughter for Christmas and the place was just as described and perfect for us. Great communication with our host. The unit was very clean and comfortable and it was lovely that there was wine, croissants and various treats for us to eat. Nice quiet area. Parking out front was easy and we were about 5-10 minutes drive to the beach. You would need a car to go to cafes or beach. I would definitely stay here again. Thanks for the relaxing holiday!!"

"My 2 sisters, my daughter and I loved the property. It has been well renovated with an extension added for the kitchen, living area, deck and bathroom. Location is excellent with it only a few minutes walk to Jetty Road for restaurants and shops. The beach is very close for swimming and walks. The tram station is a few minutes walk on Jetty Road if you wish to go into Adelaide City. We had a welcome bowl of fruit, bread and milk. Checking in was easy. Cannot recommend highly enough. The apartment has been appointed beautifully and thoughtfully. They have have thought of everything. After 8 nights on the road this accommodation is superior."

"We enjoyed our four night stay at Ashton retreat. We found it a welcoming place to relax and enjoy the established extensive gardens around the retreat.The little touches made it special-a full fruit bowl, fresh milk , a variety of breakfast cereals, fresh coffees and a variety of teas etc. Kate and Andy were very welcoming - - thank you for the delicious homemade berry jam and fresh homegrown rhubarb.
