"We chose this property because it's location allowed easy reach of York, Harrogate and sightseeing opportunities towards the North Yorks Moors. Lovely house in a quiet village. Generous rooms, great facilities. We were late in the season so didn't get a chance to use the outdoors areas but would be great in the summer. No issues, but where we had questions/requests the host responded almost immediately and came round if necessary. Highly recommended"

"We were disappointed when we arrived because the house hadn’t been heated. It was 14 degrees and we had to spend the evening in the kitchen with our coats on to keep warm. It wasn’t obvious how to change the heating so it reached 16 degrees maximum and was absolutely freezing at night. We have a 3 month old baby so I spent the night worrying he was too cold. The next day my husband did manage to fix the heating only to find out the pool wasn’t heated much to the kids disappointment. The...

"We informed Host and Stay the day we arrived the toilet down stairs was not working. We called them each day we were there to get resolution. They came to look at the toilet the next day in the afternoon and yet they did not fix the toilet. They made no attempt the remaining 2 days we were there. When we left 2 days later, the toilet had not been fixed. Host and Stay has been non-responsive as to offering us a refund."

"What a great flat size, cleanliness and location! The flat was located just on the outskirts of the City Center, which made it very quiet, but also easy and very accessible to the town, sites and restaurants. "The Reservoir View properties are all luxurious, beautifully styled and very comfortable, with all essential items provided. The Welcome Box contained lots of treats. A fabulous place for a short break. Communication with Sally, the owner, was excellent. The view over the reservoir is lovely and the walk into Pateley Bridge is great (though walking shoes are needed as it can get muddy)."

"Superb accomodation, very clean and well organised, the location was perfect, near to Harrogate, Skipton, Ripon and also not far away from York. It was very quiet and the total opposite of the city life we both endure. Highly recommend the accomodation, it had everything you need, a bedroom for 2 people, lovely bathroom, living/dining room and kitchen, the views were stunning too.
