"you will find the home nestled at the bottom of a valley surrounded by forest. our dogs had a wonderful time exploring and smelling nature. while we enjoyed watching the abundant bird population and butterflys. we cant wait to come back! my only recommendation is, if you want your pups to hangout in the cave or go on the walking trails, I would bring dog shoes to protect their feet. some of the rocks can be sharp.. "

"The cabin was clean, well stocked, and well thought out. We didn’t realize dishes, coffee, towels, extra blankets, and even a selection of dvds would be provided. We even brought our own charcoal because we didn’t know the grill was a propane grill. We were pleasantly surprised. The bathroom was clean and very close to the cabin. We enjoyed the trail down to the River and the quiet, relaxing atmosphere. We loved that we could bring our dogs. We would definitely stay here again!"

"Our cabin was well stocked; it even had movies, towels, silverware and a Keurig with donut shop coffee pods!! The host Evelyn was amazing; she was so friendly and helpful! The place was serene and close to a great swimming spot!! Will definitely be going back!"

While it may have been an older house, you can tell it has been well-taken care of over the years. "What we looked for, it was what we get,Lovely cabin, all kitchen utensils, two beds and sofa with extra individual bed, have gas grill and charcoal bbq, tv with dvd player and some dvds.Location is a camping area with multiple cabins and RVs spots, there is a shareable bathhouse with to full bathrooms and sink to wash kitchen utensils."

"The cabin is quaint and cozy with beautiful updates. We had everything we needed! Staff on the grounds are very friendly and everything on the property (grill, fire pit, horseshoes, separate game room) all within just a few steps from the cabin. Good size for family of 4 but won’t fit more. A lot of steps inside the cabin so may not be good with small children but was great for our older kids. It a mini fridge so don’t buy a lot of groceries "

"It was close to our event we were attending down on the Illinois river. Felt safe. Accomodations were as described. Very peaceful location. Would stay again."

"The owners are super creative. Spaceship was well decorated. Loved the scavenger hunt and smores kit they provided. I had to remind myself this is not a luxury stay, it is an RV and it's normal for it to smell like toilet chemicals and have awful beds. The smell did make it difficult to spend time inside and my body ached the next morning from the rock like bed. Be careful of the floor vents, they slip out of place and I twisted a foot trying to get to the restroom in the night. Otherwise it was...
