Rustic Cabin, nice and quiet. Great for a family getaway. Plenty of sleeping areas, and plenty of room by the campfire. Follow the freshwater spring fed brook out of the property which leads to the Illinois river which is about 300 yards down the road. Watch deer frequent the property, as well as raccoons, and many other wildlife. Though its right off clear creek road, its set back so to be not disturbed.
Just a few feet out the back, you can enjoy time around the campfire with ample seating, bistro lights, and some marshmallows. A freshwater spring flows almost year round coming out of the ground 50 feet from the building, it feeds to a small creek out by the main road, and flows along the road into the Illinois River, Just 300 yards down the street is Sycamamore State Park, where you have access to the River.
The Flint Ridge area has relaxing nature scenes and wildlife in the foothills of the Ozark Mountains.
