"Efficient helpful staff. Busy pub/restaurant with nice atmosphere. Great breakfast with good selection and range of cooked options. Room at the back overlooking the car park was quiet and perfectly adequate for my couple of nights stay. Marlborough was a lovely town for a quick walk round with a few independent shops and cafes."

"Fantastic hotel in a great location for walking down into Bath (although steep walk back up), and ideal for getting train into Bristol. All the staff were lovely and very friendly and attentive. Breakfast was delicious every morning!!! Room was great and although by a main road, was not disturbed by noise at all. Would definitely book again if ever travelling to that area!!!"

"We booked an overnight stay as having a girls weekend in Bath. I chose this hotel for the location, value and from previous reviews. Firstly the staff were all very warm, welcoming and professional. The hotel is a stones throw walking distance to the local bus stops ( bus goes straight through to Bath £3 pp each way) our bedroom was let's say a little dated as such and needed a little TLC but it was clean and tidy, basic necessities in place and spacious for a twin. "Great location, finding parking wasn’t bad although it did cost us £25 to park for one night. The room didn’t have an expresso machine as advertised and we only had one coffee each on arrival and that was it. Would have been nice to have more coffee and milk. Minor details but makes the difference. Overall though, was satisfied with the stay and location. "
