The staff showed up and asked again what we needed. He returned and made the bed. The beds do not have mattress covers on them. I have never seen this...

"This was my third stay at the hotel. It is an old building with much character, friendly and helpful proprietors and a wonderful location. A good breakfast is included. It is in no way luxurious but has everything I need and I prefer it to a large impersonal fancier place. "
