"Since management was about to sell the property and cancelled people’s reservations at the last minute, it was a very depressing place to stay. Services were cut as a consequence and staff could have cared less about the guests.I was relieved when checkout time came."

The carpet was very old and tile in bathroom gross. The TV did not work. We asked for our beds to be split and bedding for them, as requested on the reservation. The staff showed up and asked again what we needed. He returned and made the bed. The beds do not have mattress covers on them. I have never seen this...

"This was my third stay at the hotel. It is an old building with much character, friendly and helpful proprietors and a wonderful location. A good breakfast is included. It is in no way luxurious but has everything I need and I prefer it to a large impersonal fancier place. "
