"The house is great. I feel like the pictures don’t do it justice. There were a few minor hiccups like the hot tub not working the first day and a half but the rental company was on top of it and fast to fix it. The location is perfect! "

Unfortunately there were issues with the oven, hot tube, circuits in kitchen, WiFi and cleanliness of two of the five beds (seeds/pellets/small round objects found in them). Communications from the rental agency left us feeling belittled and talked down to. "

While there were plenty of things to do in the area, we also enjoyed just hanging out and enjoying the house, cooking meals, playing pool, making smores and enjoying the views and nature! It is an easy drive to Boone and Blowing Rock for dinner. Banner Elk is not far but the roads are a bit scarier at night."

"Gorgeous house. Beautiful views. Horses on the property that you can pet. Carport connected. Private “in law suite” with small kitchen and bathroom. All the amenities one might need. Awesome communication with owner. Responds quickly and is very helpful. Donor hesitate and rent this house. If you rent in the winter with possible ice or snow, you will want to drive a 4 wheel drive of some sort. "

"Really fun and beautiful place. The Christmas decor was so thoughtfully placed and you can tell someone put a whole lot of effort making it cozy and beautiful! We didn't need anything. They had extra of everything! We definitely heard the squirrels at night, but we turned on a box fan to drown out the noise and we slept great in the super comfortable beds. Water pressure wasn't the best, and the dishes weren't super clean, but we ran them in the dishwasher and they were fine.Overall a really...
