"It is not a place i would recommend to lone females. Its not a hotel so unsure why its on hotels.com. The ffont curtilage is unkempt with weeds growing through blockpave, the rear garden is like a jungle. Not even facilities for a welcome or early morning brew unless you bring your own. Tge walls are paper thin so you gear everything. I was in room 4 which was basic, clean bedding but curtains that allow light tgrough. The overgrown shrubs in the rear garden are at window height for first floor...

"The bedroom space was fine, but the shared living space, especially the kitchen, was filthy and left that way. No cleaners came in daily as you'd expect with any hotel. No reception on-site either which was inconvenient. Some bathroom facilities were broken and unusable such as the sink tap. "

"The check-in was terrible. The first phone no. I called said they weren’t working, then the other one claimed someone was at the property, which they weren’t. When someone turned up, he didn’t have a clue and couldn’t check me in. He made me wait in a tiny kitchen while he phoned someone, who could eventually check me in. "Whilst the owner was welcoming, the actual place is not fit for paying guests. I can only describe the place as dank ie mould, damp, peeling wallpaper, dirty, extremely squeaky bed with bed linen which may or may not have been fresh as was difficult to tell. Just dreadful all round."

We arrived at the property to find no one was there to let us in. We tried to contact the property owners and hotels.com but all numbers either didnt work or did not answer. We eventually had to walk to a IBIS hotel and get a last minute room there."

"The information in the description is false you have to share with others you do not get your own bathroom you have to share with other People it is also dangerous because the front door is always unlocked and it’s very noisy. "The property is well maintained. Location is perfect , we were able to walk to quiet a few attractions. I believe we had queen bed in reservation , we got 2 doubles instead which are tucked side by side. Not sure if that is standard practice but that was a little uncomfortable to share. I will give 10 stars for the staff at the front desk and breakfast area, always approachable and responsive. "
