"I booked a room for 3769.92 INR but on checking in was charged 5152 INR. I realized I had been overcharged when I was checking out. They told me to take it up with Expedia, so I did. Expedia said they had worked it out with the hotel and would process a refund. Later, however, Expedia sent an email saying that the hotel said I had upgraded my room and so they would not honor the price I booked for. Someone is lying. "I was unable to stay in the end due to ill health but did inform the owner twice a day of my hospital status when she assured me she held my room. When I was eventually discharged she told me she gave away my room but could offer me a home stay elsewhere, unseen. I declined and she refused refund despite resellling the room. Really poor business form and honesty. "
