"Hotel had only 25 to 30 guests out of a capacity of 200 plus. Potentially a lovely place- near good walks and beach, nice grounds and rooms and good gym. But..... The spa which they are still advertising is unusuable €26 to play tennis !! The only vegetarian option at dinner, mushroom ravioli, contained meat ! No vegetarian option at all on 2nd night so we had to eat pasta and tomato sauce Laura was the only saviour as she put on a yoga class and tried to enthuse the small number of guests....

"Overall we had a very lovely holiday, however, I won't be rushing back to this hotel. There are a lot of positives, the beach is walkable and very lovely, the staff are friendly, the food that was available was tastey and there was enough to do for the kids. But the building is dated, the bedrooms are very basic. The sinks are very high, the resort is full of kids however, I don't think any kid can wash their hands independently in the bedrooms or communal areas, not even a child friendly step...

"A lovely stay at this chilled hotel. Amazing sea views from the pool & terraces. The staff were very friendly & waiter service available to bring your AI freshly made delicious cocktails. "The Fergus Cactus Garden is in an ideal location, just slightly up the hill and away from the busy main road. The reception is beside a pool and seating area and close to the restaurant. Hotel is relatively new, clean and well-kept, nice fitness facilities, with beautiful pools and overview over an amazing beach (that is incredibly long, easy to get to Morro Jable via the beach) and never too busy. "This was our 9th visit. The hotel is very, very good. The town and the beach are quiet in that nobody bothers you.There are very few teenagers and no noisy clubs The hotel staff, as always, were excellent - particularly the dining room staff - the chefs and the waiters. The quality of the food is excellent. My only quibble is that they should change the menu in the fine dining restaurant occasionally.. It has been the same for the past three years."

"Great food at both dinner and breakfast, the beach is excellent for walking and swimming. There was unfortunately no kettle for hot water in the room and the coffee at breakfast was undrinkable. Instead of Nescafe machines dispensing low-quality 'instant' coffee, the hotel could have provided a large pot of simple filter coffee for guests. "

My best Christmas of 2019 is finding myself in this unique place, it was so beautiful to behold from the mountains then get there to find unlimited beautiful beach that worth visiting even though you must drive through rough roads 😍😍
