"Hotel had only 25 to 30 guests out of a capacity of 200 plus. Potentially a lovely place- near good walks and beach, nice grounds and rooms and good gym. But..... The spa which they are still advertising is unusuable €26 to play tennis !! The only vegetarian option at dinner, mushroom ravioli, contained meat ! No vegetarian option at all on 2nd night so we had to eat pasta and tomato sauce Laura was the only saviour as she put on a yoga class and tried to enthuse the small number of guests....

"Great food at both dinner and breakfast, the beach is excellent for walking and swimming. There was unfortunately no kettle for hot water in the room and the coffee at breakfast was undrinkable. Instead of Nescafe machines dispensing low-quality 'instant' coffee, the hotel could have provided a large pot of simple filter coffee for guests. "

"The hotel was great. Modern, clean, staff were keen. What is slightly bizarre is how quiet it is, it's like out was half empty. The only disappointment was the gym. Whilst modern it lacked equipment. Given the vast amount of public space, they are missing a trick here. Breakfast was very good each day. The road leading to the hotel is not great and there's very little public parking but plenty on the road."

"A lovely stay at this chilled hotel. Amazing sea views from the pool & terraces. The staff were very friendly & waiter service available to bring your AI freshly made delicious cocktails. The buffet meals had so much choice, you won’t go hungry. Nice entertainment on the terrace every evening with a chilled vibe. The hotel isn’t adult only but it has a chilled adult vibe. "Overall we had a very lovely holiday, however, I won't be rushing back to this hotel. There are a lot of positives, the beach is walkable and very lovely, the staff are friendly, the food that was available was tastey and there was enough to do for the kids. But the building is dated, the bedrooms are very basic. The sinks are very high, the resort is full of kids however, I don't think any kid can wash their hands independently in the bedrooms or communal areas, not even a child friendly step...

"First class property with first class facilities representing excellent value for money on AI basis. The dining and cleaning staff were so friendly and helpful. Only downside was the aloof attitude of the reception staff on arrival and departure who were not even interested enough to ask if we enjoyed our stay. The owners need to address this as it detracts from the other excellent employees."

Casa Julie 8th to 20th February 2024

"Casa Julie is a beautiful property in an outstanding location with wonderful views to the south and south west, located in the southern part of Fuerteventura, close to La Pared. Converted from a stable building, the design is fresh and modern. The living space is open plan with full height glass opening over the views and it has good connection to the terrace and pool area. The kitchen is well equipped and easy to work. The house is off grid for electricity and everything worked perfectly with a good supply of hot water for showers. The bedrooms are spacious with comfortable beds and good storage. Casa Julie is well located for access to the beaches at Sotovento/Costa Calma and La Pared. It also has good access to the lovely villages in the centre of the Island and the airport is one hour's drive. Renting a car here would be essential. Food shops and restaurants are about 15 mins drive. The owner, Norbert, was great to deal with and his assistant Sara was very helpful. We really enjoyed our stay at Casa Julie. It is a wonderful place to chill out."

"Loved this hotel loved the staff ignore any negative reviews the drinks are plentiful the food varied spa and massage perfect shout out to Miquel the bar man we will go back plus entertainment on dour floor every night was fab "
