"We stayed in the cottage at Tovey Lodge. It was very dated, which was fine, but it was also worn out. The sofa bed needs replacing due to peeling material and the mattress on this was so thin there is no way an adult could sleep on there. Luckily our 7 year old can sleep anywhere. The main bed was uncomfortable with a too small mattress topper which didn't reach the edges and because of this we only stayed for two of the three nights we had booked as we needed sleep. "Had a wonderful stay at this holiday cottage. The location was great —perfect for exploring the town centre and all that Chichester has to offer, while remaining quiet and peaceful. The cottage was spacious, well-equipped, and the bed comfortable. However, it could have been aired out and warmed up a bit more prior to our arrival, as it took a couple of days to feel truly homely. Aside from this minor issue, it was a lovely space and made for an enjoyable visit.”"

"This is a well equipped cottage which is in a rural position on the edge of the town, accessed by a short but unlit lane. It is a 15 minute walk into the High Street and there are plenty of countryside walks from the doorstep."

"Cottage is great, very cosy and the location for being close to all the attractions of Brighton. The downside of the location is the noise when people using the alley way go home… one night students seemed to flow past making a racket till gone 1am… the other nights were not as noisy but when your on holiday doesn’t seem to matter.
